Unlimited Authority To Collect Service Charges and Taxes

Sec. 58.508. UNLIMITED AUTHORITY TO COLLECT SERVICE CHARGES AND TAXES. The provisions of this subchapter do not alter or impair the right of a district: (1) to make, establish, and collect maintenance and operation charges for service rendered; (2) to levy and collect taxes to secure funds to maintain, repair, and operate all works and facilities; and (3) to give and maintain proper service for the purposes of its organization.
