Civil Penalty

Sec. 602.3015. CIVIL PENALTY. (a) A person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted or order issued under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 a day. (b) At the request of the medical board, the attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty authorized under this section. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 326, Sec. 15, eff.
