Sec. 61.021. APPLICATION OF SUBCHAPTER. This subchapter applies to health care services and assistance provided to a person who does not reside in the service area of a public hospital or hospital district. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
