Sec. 62.048. LEGAL SERVICES. (a) The board may call on the county attorney of the county for the legal services it requires. (b) In lieu of or in addition to the county attorney, the board may employ and compensate its own counsel and legal staff. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2494, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
