Filing of Charter Or Certificate

Sec. 62.206. FILING OF CHARTER OR CERTIFICATE. (a) The converted association shall file with the commissioner: (1) a copy of the charter issued to the federal association by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; or (2) a certificate showing the organization of the association as a federal association, certified by the secretary or assistant secretary of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. (b) Failure to file a required instrument with the commissioner does not affect the validity of the conversion. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
