Fee

Sec. 623.124. FEE. (a) An application for a permit must be accompanied by a fee of $15. (b) The department shall send each fee collected under this section to the comptroller. Of each fee received from the department, the comptroller shall deposit: (1) $7.50 to the credit of the general revenue fund; and (2) of the remainder: (A) 90 percent to the credit of the state highway fund; and (B) 10 percent to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.
