Sec. 6610.052. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. (a) A director must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be a resident of this state; and (3) own land subject to taxation in the district. (b) A director appointed from a county commissioners precinct must be a resident of the precinct for which the director is appointed. (c) A person is not eligible to serve as a director if the person owes delinquent taxes to San Patricio County. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 855 (S.B. 1162), Sec. 1.01, eff.
