Sec. 775.109. INVESTIGATIONS. (a) The fire marshal shall begin an investigation within 24 hours after notification of a fire. The 24-hour period does not include Sunday. (b) The fire marshal may investigate attempted fires. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 272, Sec. 5, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
