Board of Directors

Sec. 78.031. BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (a) The board of directors of a noxious weed control district is composed of five persons, each of whom must: (1) hold title to land located in the district; (2) be 18 years of age or older; and (3) reside in a county all or part of which is located in the district. (b) Except as provided by Section 78.032 of this code, the term of office of a director is two years. Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1212, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1981.
