Definitions

Sec. 791.001. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: (1) "Owner" includes an individual, firm, association, or private corporation. (2) "Story" has its usual architectural meaning and includes: (A) a basement that extends five feet or more above the grade line on one or more sides of a building; (B) a balcony or mezzanine floor of a building; (C) a roof garden; or (D) an attic used for any purpose.
