Sec. 8024.0053. RAPID TRANSIT AUTHORITY POWERS. (a) The district has the powers of a metropolitan rapid transit authority under Section 451.065, Transportation Code. (b) The municipal consent and contract requirements in Section 451.065(d), Transportation Code, do not apply to the district. Added by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 468 (H.B. 4172), Sec. 1.02, eff.
