Duties of Executive Committee

Sec. 81.122. DUTIES OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. The executive committee shall: (1) on the recommendation of the president of the state bar, approve the creation of additional standing and special committees of the state bar in accordance with Section 81.123; (2) conduct a comprehensive review of standing and special committees of the state bar at least biennially and more frequently as the executive committee determines necessary to assess whether there is: (A) a continued need for each committee; and (B) unnecessary overlap of the committees' activities; and (3) perform other duties as delegated by the board of directors.
