Situs of Deposit For Tax Purposes

Sec. 841.356. SITUS OF DEPOSIT FOR TAX PURPOSES. For purposes of state, county, or municipal taxation, the situs of deposited securities is the municipality and county in which the depositing company's home office is located. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
