Sec. 85.044. EXEMPT PURCHASES. The provisions of Sections 85.041 through 85.043 of this code do not apply to the purchase of products of oil if made by the ultimate consumer from a retail distributor of the products. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2516, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
