Sec. 882.651. AUTHORITY TO CONVERT. A mutual assessment company or association organized and operating under the laws of this state on May 17, 1943, may convert to a mutual life insurance company as provided by this subchapter. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
