Sec. 886.703. CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person violates this chapter. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
