Certificate Required

Sec. 901.251. CERTIFICATE REQUIRED. (a) A person who is an individual may not engage in the practice of public accountancy unless the person holds a certificate issued under this chapter or practices in this state under a privilege under Section 901.462. (b) The board shall issue a certificate to a person who meets the applicable requirements of this chapter. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
