Penalty For Late Payment

Sec. 94.056. PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT. A landlord may assess a penalty for late payment of rent or another fee or charge if the payment is not remitted on or before the date stipulated in the lease agreement. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 801, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2002.
