Sec. 31.159. FILLING VACANCY. (a) A vacancy in the position of joint elections administrator is filled by appointment of the joint elections commission. (b) An appointment to fill an anticipated vacancy arising from a resignation to take effect at a future date may be made at any time after the resignation is accepted.
