Sec. 453.002. ADMINISTRATION OF COMMUNITY PROPERTY NOT NECESSARY. If a spouse dies intestate and the community property passes to the surviving spouse, no administration of the community property is necessary. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 680 (H.B. 2502), Sec. 1, eff. January 1, 2014.
