Sec. 14.057. PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS; MERIT PAY. (a) The commissioner or a person designated by the commissioner shall develop a system of annual employee performance evaluations based on measurable job tasks. (b) Merit pay for employees of the office must be based on the system established under this section. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
