Definitions

Sec. 2005.001. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Permit" means an authorization by a license, certificate, registration, or other form that is required by law or state agency rules to engage in a particular business. (2) "State agency" means a department, board, bureau, commission, division, office, council, or other agency of the state. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
