Sec. 33.038. AUTOMATIC REMOVAL. A judge is automatically removed from the judge's office if the judge is convicted of or is granted deferred adjudication for: (1) a felony; or (2) a misdemeanor involving official misconduct. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 917, Sec. 18, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
