Sec. 825.009. STEALING TRAPS; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person steals or fraudulently takes a trap belonging to the state or the United States Department of the Interior. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 or more than $200. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
