Sec. 40.055. LEGISLATIVE APPROPRIATION REQUEST. The department shall submit any legislative appropriation request to the commission for comment and for incorporation into the commission's consolidated health and human services budget recommendation. The legislative appropriation request must comply with state priorities and federal requirements. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 920, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
