Tex. Local Government Code § 1.004

Sec. 1.004. REFERENCE IN LAW TO STATUTE REVISED BY CODE. A reference in a law to a statute or a part of a statute revised by this code is considered to be a reference to the part of this code that revises that statute or part of the statute. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
