Sec. 158.003. CREATION BY ORDER. (a) A county civil service system may be created by an order adopted by a majority of the members of the commissioners court of the county. (b) A copy of an order adopted under this section shall be placed in the minutes of the court's proceedings. The copy of the order is public information. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
