Sec. 62.001. ABOLITION OF CORPORATE EXISTENCE. A special-law municipality with 10,000 or fewer inhabitants or a general-law municipality may abolish its corporate existence as provided by this subchapter. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
