Tex. Local Government Code § 82.004

Sec. 82.004. PREMIUMS. The commissioners court of a county shall pay out of the general fund of the county the premiums for a bond or insurance policy required by this chapter. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
