Sec. 62.012. METHOD OF CREATING BOARD. A board may be created after a favorable majority vote of the qualified voters of the county voting at an election held on the proposition. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2493, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
