Sec. 62.009. PURCHASE FOR EVIDENCE. A person who, for the purpose of establishing testimony, purchases a game bird or animal whose sale is prohibited by this code, is immune from prosecution for the purchase. A conviction for the unlawful sale of game may be sustained on the uncorroborated testimony of the purchaser. Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1975.
