Sec. 1006.054. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. To be eligible to be elected or appointed as a director, a person must: (1) be a resident of the district; and (2) own land in the district subject to taxation. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2007.
