Sec. 8814.062. ENGINEER. The board may: (1) appoint or contract with a competent professional engineer for the district; and (2) determine the amount of compensation to be paid to the engineer. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.05, eff. April 1, 2011.
