Sec. 8824.002. NATURE OF DISTRICT. The district is a groundwater conservation district in Colorado County created under and essential to accomplish the purposes of Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 953 (H.B. 4032), Sec. 1, eff. June 15, 2007.
