Sec. 9501.053. ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. To be eligible for appointment as a member of the commission, a person must own real property in and be a qualified voter of the area in which the commission has jurisdiction. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2005.
