Sec. 201.502. RETENTION OF DEED. A deed that conveys any interest in real property to the state for a highway purpose shall be deposited and retained in the Austin office of the department. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
