Sec. 253.004. NOTICE. (a) The commissioners court must publish notice of the proposed improvement and assessment at least twice in a newspaper of general circulation in the county. (b) The notice must state the date the commissioners court will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed improvement and assessment. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
