Sec. 342.102. LICENSE APPLICATION. To obtain a license to operate a ferry a person must file an application with: (1) the commissioners court of the county in which the ferry is located; or (2) if the ferry is to be operated between land in different counties, the commissioners court of the county in which the applicant resides or has the ferry house.
