Sec. 12.052. PRESIDING OFFICER. (a) The governor shall designate a commissioner as the presiding officer. (b) The presiding officer serves in that capacity at the pleasure of the governor. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
