Sec. 55.174. PROHIBITION ON CHARGE FOR CERTAIN CALLS. A provider may not charge a person making a call on a pay telephone for: (1) local directory assistance; or (2) a call made under Chapter 771 or 772, Health and Safety Code. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
