16-1a-209. Signing and filing a record in accordance with a judicial order.

(1) If a person required under this chapter to sign or deliver a record to the division for filing does not sign or deliver the record to the division for filing, a person adversely affected by the person's failure to sign or deliver the record may petition a court to require that: the person sign the record; the person deliver the record to the division for filing; or the division file the record unsigned.

(2) If a person that petitions a court under Subsectionis not the person to which the record pertains, the person that petitions the court shall make the person to which the record pertains a party to the action. (1)

(3) A record filed in accordance with Subsectionis effective without being signed. (1)(c)
