16-1a-304. Reservation of name.
(1) A person may reserve the exclusive use of an entity name by delivering an application to the division for filing that states: the name and address of the applicant; and the name to reserve.
(2) If the division determines that the entity name stated in the application described in Subsectionis available, the division shall reserve the name for the applicant's exclusive use for 120 calendar days after the day on which the division reserves the name. (1)
(3) A person that reserves a name in accordance with this section may transfer the reserved name to another person by delivering to the division a signed notice in a record of the transfer that states the name and address of the transferee.
