41-1a-1612. Contract for license plate design -- Consultation and other duties.
(1) Using revenue appropriated to the commission from the License Plate Restricted Account as described in Subsection, the commission shall contract with a designer. 41-1a-122(4)(d)
(2) The commission shall ensure that the designer has the capability and expertise to ensure compliance with the license plate design standards described in Subsection. 41-1a-1611(8)
(3) The designer shall: consult with the design review board and the commission regarding compliance with license plate design standards described in Subsectiona-1611(8); and 41-1 provide license plate design and artistic assistance to: if requested, a sponsoring organization proposing a new special group license plate or existing special group license plate redesign; the division; the commission; and the design review board.
