53E-4-302. Statewide assessments -- Duties of the state board.
(1) The state board shall: require the state superintendent to: submit and recommend statewide assessments to the state board for adoption by the state board; and distribute the statewide assessments adopted by the state board to a school district or charter school; provide for the state to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress state-by-state comparison testing program; and require a school district or charter school to administer statewide assessments.
