53F-4-519. Home-based student access to online courses.
Subject to legislative appropriations and Subsection, and notwithstanding Subsectionsand (3), the state board shall:
(1) use funds from an appropriation for the Statewide Online Education Program to pay for an online course fee described in Sectionfor a home-based student whose custodial parent is a resident of Utah; and 53F-4-505
(2) allocate funds for online course fees for home-based students on a first-come, first-served basis until the appropriated funds are fully expended.
