53G-5-204. Charter school innovative practices -- Report to State Charter School Board.
(1) On or before July 31 of each year, a charter school may identify and report to the State Charter School Board the charter school's innovative practices which fulfill the purposes of charter schools as described in Section, including: 53G-5-104 unique learning opportunities providing increased choice in education; new public school models; innovative teaching practices; opportunities for educators to actively participate in the design and implementation of the learning program; new forms of accountability emphasizing measurement tools in measuring education outcomes; opportunities for greater parental involvement, including involvement in governance decisions; and the impact of the innovative practices on student achievement.
(2) The State Charter School Board may forward the report received under Subsection (1) to the state board.
