53G-5-413. Charter school governing board meetings -- Rules of order and procedure.
(1) As used in this section, "rules of order and procedure" means a set of rules that governs and prescribes in a public meeting: parliamentary order and procedure; ethical behavior; and civil discourse.
(2) A charter school governing board shall: adopt rules of order and procedure to govern a public meeting of the charter school governing board; conduct a public meeting in accordance with the rules of order and procedure described in Subsection (2)(a); and make the rules of order and procedure described in Subsection (2)(a) available to the public.
(3) The requirements of this section do not affect a charter school governing board's duty to comply with Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act.
