53H-3-608. Geographic service areas for degree-granting institutions that provide technical education.
(1) A degree-granting institution of higher education provides technical education in the geographic areas of the state described in this section.
(2) The Snow College Richfield campus, described in Section, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing: 53H-4-502 the Juab School District; the Millard School District; the Tintic School District; the North Sanpete School District; the South Sanpete School District; the Wayne School District; the Piute School District; and the Sevier School District. A Utah State University regional institution, as defined in Section, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing: 53H-4-303 for Utah State University Eastern, described in Section: 53H-4-303 the Carbon School District; and the Emery School District; for Utah State University Blanding, described in Section, the San Juan School District; and 53H-4-303 for Utah State University Moab, described in Section, the Grand School District. 53H-4-303 Salt Lake Community College provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing: the Salt Lake City School District; the Granite School District; the Murray School District; the Canyons School District; and the Jordan School District.
