58-47b-201. Board.
(1) There is created the Board of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture consisting of: four massage therapists; two licensed acupuncturists as defined in Section; and 58-72-102 one member of the general public.
(2) The board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section. 58-1-201
(3) The board shall perform the duties and responsibilities described in Sectionsandwith respect to this chapter and Chapter 72, Acupuncture Licensing Act. 58-1-202 58-1-203 In addition, the board shall designate one of the board's members on a permanent or rotating basis to: assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the conduct of an individual licensed under this chapter or Chapter 72, Acupuncture Licensing Act; and advise the division in the division's investigation of these complaints.
(4) A board member who has, under Subsection, reviewed a complaint or advised in the complaint's investigation may be disqualified from participating with the board when the board serves as a presiding officer in an adjudicative proceeding concerning the complaint. (3)
