58-55-304. Continuing education requirements for electricians.
(1) During each two-year license term the division establishes by rule in accordance with Section, a licensed electrician shall complete 16 hours of continuing education. 58-55-108
(2) The commission, with the concurrence of the division, shall establish by rule, made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, continuing education for licensed electricians.
(3) The division may contract with a person to establish and maintain a registry of continuing education that includes: an online application for a continuing education course provider to apply to the division for approval of a course as continuing education; a list of approved continuing education courses; and a list of courses that: a licensed electrician completes; and the licensed electrician may access to monitor compliance with the continuing education requirement.
(4) The division may charge a fee the division establishes in accordance with Section, to administer this section. 63J-1-504
